Dr Mullen is a vocationally trained General Practitioner. He hails from Galway on the west coast of Ireland. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training in Dublin. His areas of interest are Minor Injuries, Acute Medicine, Chronic Disease Management and Dermatology.

Austin hails from county Roscommon in the Northwest of Ireland. He completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology from University College Dublin in 2014 and attained his postgraduate medical degree in 2019 from University of Limerick. He has worked in rural and metropolitan hospitals across WA, Northern Territory and Victoria for the last 4 years in critical care and Geriatric medicine. His areas of interest are Emergency Medicine, Palliative care, Public health and Paediatrics. Austin loves sport, music, travelling and the outdoors.

Patrick is an ACRRM Rural Generalist Registrar with experience across rural general practice, urgent care and aged care. He has previously worked throughout the Hume region of Victoria after completing his postgraduate medical training in Geelong. He has completed Advanced Skills Training in Palliative Care and is passionate about delivering community-based palliative care to rural communities.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys running, diving, camping and walking his golden retrievers. He also loves watching his beloved Geelong Cats.

Special Interests: Palliative care, chronic disease management, aged care, sports medicine, urgent care medicine.

Dr Bree Lucas graduated from Deakin University in 2020 and grew up in the Geelong region. She is currently a GP Registrar with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, with a special interest in perimenopause and menopause care.

Dr Bree provides evidence-based, personalised care for women through all stages of life. She offers comprehensive menopause assessments, menopausal hormone therapy (MHT), non-hormonal treatment options, and education to help women make informed decisions about their health.

Her broader interests include women’s health across the lifespan, pregnancy planning, postpartum care, child and adolescent health, preventive health, and evidence-based medical weight management. She also has a growing interest in ADHD management and skin cancer detection, including dermoscopy and skin checks.

Dr Bree is known for her warm, thorough, and educational approach. She believes patients should feel heard, understand their health and treatment options, and leave each appointment with a personalised plan that supports both their immediate wellbeing and long-term health.

Outside of work, Bree enjoys spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers, exploring the coast, reading, and teaching herself new hobbies such as crochet and sewing.

Dr Saeba Thomas is a GPT1 Registrar at Apollo Bay Medical Centre. She completed her medical education In India and has over 3 years of clinical experience in the Australian healthcare system. Having served as a hospital medical officer at Monash Health, she has a robust foundation in acute care and multidisciplinary patient management.

Her special interests include Internal medicine, Paediatrics and Rural medicine.

Outside of the clinic she enjoys reading, travelling and exploring new cuisines and cultures.

Dr Emily Davies is a GP registrar, recently moved to the Apollo Bay. She completed her undergraduate training in the north of the UK before moving to Australia where she has worked for the past five years. She has spent much of this time working in Emergency Departments across various remote locations, which is where her love of practicing rural medicine was formed.

Emily fosters a friendly and safe environment for patients of all backgrounds and believes everyone should feel comfortable, respected and empowered to make informed decisions about their health. Her special interests include emergency medicine, Aboriginal health and sexual health.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time in the outdoors discovering beautiful spots for her hammock as well as making things out of clay and yarn. 

Nurse Practitioner, Male, BN, MnSc (NP), G Cert Emergency

Bradly is one of Great Ocean Roads Team of Nurse Practitioners.

A Nurse Practitioner  (NP) is a Registered Nurse with the experience, expertise and authority to diagnose and treat people of all ages with a variety of acute or chronic health conditions. NPs have completed additional university study at Master’s degree level and are the most senior and independent clinical nurses in our health care system.

Brad is able to provide referrals, prescriptions and diagnostic tests such as X-rays.

NPs are not qualified to the same level as a GP and therefore, it is best to see a GP for serious, complex, or ongoing health concerns.
