Terence started at our sister clinic at Lorne Medical Centre as a GP Registrar in 2011 and was later admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Terence has always had a keen interest in medical education, having achieved awards such as Supervisor of the year with EVGP and subsequently RACGP (Vic). He is a proficient examiner at the GP OSCE exams and is an accredited writer for the KFP/ AKT examinations. All his GP registrars to date have passed their examinations on their 1st attempt.

Terence has a special interest in Musculo-skeletal medicine, Urgent Care medicine and Skin Cancer (Master’s Degree). He has been heavily involved in teaching medical and chiropractic students and was a nominee for the Epworth Clinical School Clinical Teaching award (2021). Prior to relocating to Apollo Bay, he was an experienced surgical assistant in the fields of Spine, Orthopaedics, Colorectal, O&G and General surgery.

His love of rural medicine and the coastal region led him back to Apollo Bay Medical Centre in 2022 and he is proud to serve in the Otway Health community. He continues to provide consultancy advice to Eastern Melbourne PHN, tutorials for Deakin medical students and is an accredited AHPRA panel member.
